Hope in the Darkness

My name is Farangis, I am 18 years old, and I am from Afghanistan.

When the Taliban regained power, schools were shut down, and my dreams for the future were shattered. My days were filled with hopelessness until I discovered the Women’s Empowerment Program, an online initiative.

This program became an opportunity for me to learn that I should not remain silent in the face of discrimination and that I have the right to say “no.” The education and support I received not only gave me hope but also made me stronger and more determined to fight for my future.

Today, I want to tell all girls that no matter how difficult the path may seem, hope and perseverance can overcome any obstacle.
